VIETNAM CENTER FOR DEVELOPMENT AND INTEGRATION INTRODUCTION


The Center for Development and Integration was established since April 2005, as a non profit and non-government organization.

VISION

The Center for Development and Integration with the aim to promote sustainable socio-economic development, good governance towards an equitable society where poor women, girls, men and boys’ well-beings can be best respected and served in the Asian and Vietnam rapid economic integration.

MISSION

To bridge societal gaps by assistance actions and bringing forward the emerging issues into policy advocacy and capacity building

OBJECTIVES

* To provide high quality services regarding development and integration issues in Vietnam and in other regions

* To actively participate into promotion of sustainable socio-economic development of the poor including poverty reduction, job creation, business promotion

* To work as the connect point to link with development partners in terms of research, knowledge management, information management and advocacy

* To increase the organization’s self-sustaining.

CDI seeks to address the causes of poverty and help the poor and the vulnerable to overcome.
 
CDI works with a committed and professional team who expertise in the field of development to provide best services




CDI works with poor people, communities, civil society, government partners, NGOs, donors and other development partners in Vietnam and other countries.



Our registration No. A-399 by Ministry of Science and Technology. Decision by VAPEC.

ACTIVITIES

* Contributes with high quality of research and surveys in economic, social, environment and trade and business and empowerment of women

* Is raising awareness on corporate social responsibility, trade fair through policy advocacy, campaigns and networking

* Strengthens grass root community and vulnerable people’s participation into development process and decision making.

* Facilitates exchanges of knowledge through international co-operation, seminars and conferences

* Is a resource center on trainings for public managers and practitioners in strategic planning, public finance, development management, monitoring and evaluation.

OUR EXPERTISE

Core members and staff of CDI have been involved in a large scale of development work

Asia Studies and Regional advocacy: Human security, Global Supply Chain, Migration, Labor Relations, Trade in GMS.


Socio-economic planning (SEDP) and CPRGS roll-out and Capacity Building to local governments and communities: Participatory Poverty Assessment, strategic planning, result-based planning, Village development and planning, participatory M&E. Experienced in Central Highlands, Northern Mountainous Area and Red River Delta and Mekong Delta Regions.

Policy analysis and advocacy: Labor Market Segmentation, poverty, trade, development.

Assessment of national programs and projects: in particular on rural development, gender, education, poverty reduction, environment.
